I will preface this grapevine by stating I have NO financial interest in recommending this product/service.
For the last 3 years my TV channels were provided through an Android box. I recently came across someone selling the Amazon fire stick and I have switched and very happy with the service.
First of all for the sports bettor it is great. All the sports packages NBA league pass, NFL Sunday ticket, NHL center ice, MLB extra innings, ACC, Fox sports channels, Big 10, CBS and NBC sports network, Pac 12, NFL red zone, ESPN and more…
Latest movies and TV series on demand along with Netflix and potentially any other apps you may be interested in downloading. Literally over 4,000 channels.
It is very user friendly virtually plug and play as long as you have a strong internet.
The quality of the picture is better in my opinion than the Android box. As with all streaming services there is occasional freezing/ buffering but I have found it to be rare and minimal.
The cost was $150 for the stick loaded and programmed with what I wanted and $15 per month for the service.
