Steam is when a line is moving fast in 1 direction. You often hear that is sharp money they know what is going on. These are professionals betting BIG money.
This may be true it may not but guess what it is irrelevant. What is relevant to you there is NO correlation between steam and the actual outcome of a game.
Some bettors chase steam trying to jump on board to a line on the move that they do not know why. What I do know if you bet into the steam you are betting into a bad number. You may get away with it on occasion but long term no way.
The alternative do your own handicapping have confidence in your number regardless if there is steam or not. Get out ahead of the market before any potential move.
