Orlando Magic over Atlanta Hawks: We won with Orl last time out at home vs. Mia. It played out close to what we expected. Improved defense under the new coach they just could not close out the game and lost in OT however we still managed to cover. Atl beat Dall last time out at home 104-87 but it was a very difficult spot for Dall. The combination of those 2 results has this line higher than it should be.
Orlando Magic over Miami Heat: Yes Mia picked up the Dragic brothers and that will definitely help but Bosh is out and for this team to be favored by this much on the road even against Orl gets us value on the home team. Orl is playing better since the coaching change 4-2 s/u and they have won 3 in a row.
Dallas Mavericks over Oklahoma City Thunder: Despite both teams having had key players out for extended periods of time these 2 teams a fairly even. Dall has a slight adv on the offensive end Okc on the defensive and rebounding side. Since we are getting more than home court adv that provides value on Dall.
Sacramento Kings over Utah Jazz: For once it is the home team with altitude that will have the scheduling disadvantage. Both these teams suck. Ut is 2-8 in their last 10 while Sac is 1-10 in their last 11 however we are not the team spotting points.
Los Angeles Clippers over Cleveland Cavaliers: In a game the visitor can win outright the points offered provide us with excellent value. Yes Clev has won 11 in a row but that is already factored in the line.
Detroit Pistons-Toronto Raptors Under: The markets have not picked up on how badly the Tor offense is struggling. Tor has not topped more than 92 in their last 5 games.
New York Knicks over Charlotte Hornets: I know it is uncomfortable to risk hard earned money on NY they may be worse than Phil but that is where the value is. Both teams have played 4 in 6 so no adv here. NY have won 3 in a row so if nothing else their mental aspect should be better.
Chicago Bulls over San Antonio Spurs: We will be playing on the cold home team vs. the hot road team. This line has simply gone too far in the wrong direction. Yes SA is healthier than at any time this year and Chic will still be without Noah.
Detroit Pistons over Indiana Pacers: Since the trade of Smith Det has really put it together. They are 8-2 in their last 10 and the markets have not fully adjusted to how good this team is playing. Jennings and Monroe in particular have turned their seasons around since the trade.
Oklahoma City Thunder over Houston Rockets: OKC is healthier than they have been all year. They have had 6 days off prior to this game. They have treated this time off as a mini camp. Get Waiters and the healthy bodies acclimated to the system.
