Pittsburgh Panthers over North Carolina Tar Heels: WE get enough edges in this one to state the wrong team is favored. N.Car is more glitzy they score more points however now they must travel on a short week in a big game and they have Duke up next. Both teams are 6-1 s/u. However 5 out of the 7 for N. Car have been played at home while for Pitts 5 out of the 7 have been played on the road. Pitts has also played the more difficult schedule.
Nevada Wolfpak over Hawaii Rainbow Warriors: There was optimism when Chow took over coach for Haw. However it has not translated to wins and losses. The defense has regressed and going up against the Nev pistol offense this has the makings of a potential blowout.
Michigan State Spartans over Michigan Wolverines: Not here to make a case against Mich they are legit. What I will say based on their profile and coach and how well the defense is playing they are overvalued. In what I anticipate will be a low scoring bitterly contested rivalry game the points offered are huge.
Navy Midshipmen over Notre Dame Fighting Irish: When you bet on academy schools you know you will get effort no quit preparation and discipline. Notre Dame is coming off that tough road loss to Clemson. Although I do expect them to win this game I do not obviously expect them to cover. Navy is 4-0 and bring their triple option attach into this game.
Nc St Wolfpack over Virginia Tech Hokies: I am fully aware that VT has played a tougher schedule. They are at home and it is possible they will get their #1 QB back Brewer. Brewer broke his collar bone in game 1 and will be a game time decision. In my opinion all of this has been accounted for in the line and then some.
Kansas State Wildcats over Oklahoma State Cowboys: These are 2 very evenly matched teams that know each other very well.
Indiana Hoosiers over Ohio State Buckeyes: Both teams enter the game 4-0 having played similar strength of competition. This is a lot of points to be spotting the home team playing very well. No I am not suggesting that Ind is even close to the same class as Ohst. What I am saying in what shapes up to be a high scoring game you are paying a substantial premium to bet on the name Ohst.
Appalachian State Mountaineers over Wyoming Cowboys: Both these teams have played similar strength of schedules. What does stick out however is App St. played at Clemson. Wyo has only played 1 road game so far this year while App St only 1 home game.
Florida International Golden Panthers over Louisiana Tech Bulldogs: L.Tech are off 2 very tough road losses so that puts them in a very tough scheduling spot. There is no doubt that the offense of L.Tech is much better than FIU. However we are not the ones spotting this many points.
New Mexico State Aggies over Utep Miners: Last year state went into Utep lost 42-24 as a 10.5 pt dog. Both teams have started out this year 0-2. Utep was forecast to take a step back this year but now it is looking more like 2 or 3 steps back.
