Los Angeles Rams-San Francisco 49er’s Over: The Sf defense continues to be decimated with key injuries. The defensive stats continue to look good but misleading. Sf has faced Nyj Nyg and have even given up 25 to Phil. On offense I am expecting a bounce back after the debacle against Mia last week. Garoppolo will have had a week of practice along with RB Mostert. Lar defense has also been propped up having faced Wash Nyg Phil. One thing Lar do well is get after the Qb tied for the league in sacks while SF has given up the 4th most sacks.
Detroit Lions over Jacksonville Jaguars: With only 1 win Det can hardly take Jax for granted. Jax was projected to be along with the Nyj the worst teams in the league. With the surprising opening day shocker over Indi the market has been giving them too much respect. Jax has now lost 4 in a row and have cluster injuries at WR and all through the defense. Det is off a bye Golladay is back healthy Stafford needed to work on his footwork really no excuses this week. Det 3 losses have come against Chic Gb and No. Det has played the 6th SOS while Jax comes in at 18th.
Dallas Cowboys over Arizona Cardinals: The Dall defense is horrible and in the short-term combined with injuries that is not going to change. A number of issues not being looked at properly here. The Ariz defense is not so good either. The loss of LB Jones is big. Dalton is not Prescott but he is a very capable back-up with the best group of receivers in the league. In fact on offense if Dalton plays more ball control it will keep the Dall defense off the field actually helping their cause. Ariz has played the 30th SOS Dall comes in at 16th.
Cleveland Browns over Indianapolis Colts: Wrong team is favored here especially on the road. LB Leonard is doubtful and that is a big loss for Indi. This will be the best offense Indi has seen yet this year given the fact they have faced Jax, Minn, Nyj, and Chic. Indi SOS is ranked 31st. Part of the reason for this line is Indi is ranked #1 in overall defense but has stated this is misleading. Clev has a very good offensive line and TE Njoku is expected back which will help. RB Chubb continues to be sidelined but Clev has very good quality depth at RB.
San Francisco 49er’s over Philadelphia Eagles: Where to start with this one. Both teams have played weak competition. Both teams have substantial injuries. However SF is taking care of business Phil is not. SF lost opening day to Ariz at home we were on Ariz but SF was right there for a possible win and cover. Phil just played an extra quarter tying Cinci at home and now must travel to the west coast. Given the current roster this team is no better than the jets and giants. Rb Sanders is ? cluster injuries at WR the offensive line has given up 11 sacks.
Kansas City Chiefs over Baltimore Ravens: This is not a fade on Balt. There is nothing negative to say about them. This is a rare Monday nighter regular season with both teams will be focused and up for the game. It is not often you are able to take back points with Mahomes at QB. The hype is Balt wants to prove they belong national audience and they are on the same level as Kc. Guess what they are but given the circumstances minimal home field adv I priced this game at 1.5 giving us excellent value.
New Orleans Saints over Green Bay Packers: NO laid an egg in Vegas Monday night so their stock is down. There is no question Brees arm strength is down. NO has turned into a ball control dink and dunk offense. Add to this WR Thomas will not play. Gb stock is high after all they are 2-0 scoring 85 points this has mostly been on the feet of Jones. This is a team that was said to be in decline Rodgers was fading and they drafted no receivers for him. Now comes the news his main threat Adams will be doubtful for this game. We have 1 team Gb overvalued the other NO undervalued creating value.
Buffalo Bills over Los Angeles Rams: We will deal with the negative first. Lar have played Dall/Phil Buff has played Nyj/Mia so the Buff competition has been weak. Taking that into account we get to play against a west coast team early start heading east 2nd consecutive week. Rb Ackers is banged up doubtful OL Noteboom is out. The Buff offense seems to be catching up finally to the defense. Buff should be able to put pressure on Goff and on the road he has a tendency not to play well.
Indianapolis Colts over Minnesota Vikings: Week 2 in the NFL also known as over reaction week. We get a prime example of this right here. The final score at home was flattering to Minn losing 43-34 to GB. Minn was outgained 522-382 TOP was 41-19 in favor of GB. In other words the defense could not get off the field. Minn only threat on offense as expected was Thielen. Minn 2ndary is weak and so is their pass rush. This brings us to Indi. Indi was shocked on the road losing to Jax 27-20 who are perhaps the worst team in the league.
Arizona Cardinals over San Francisco 49er’s: Ariz is expected to play at a fast pace with unique and mobile Murray at QB. That is tough to dealwith at anytime but especially week 1 with no pre-season. RB Drake will have the full practice sessions after being traded here last year. The big acquisition is obviously Hopkins at WR. However if Ariz is to take another step forward the defense will need to improve. They have made some strides on paper we will se how that translates to the field. SF will be very good again this year. However they are not as healthy as Ariz.
