Washington Nationals over Los Angeles Dodgers Best of 7 series: Wash was one of the hottest clubs in the second half and needed to be just to get in the playoffs. Lad were on cruise control for most of the year. Lad have the adv in the bullpen as the Wash bullpen has been their weakness the whole year. However on offense the gap is small both teams can smash. Starting pitching I actually give the edge to Wash. Corbin Sanchez is the weak link followed by Strasburg and Scherzer. For Lad Buehler starts it off than Ryu who tailed off badly 2nd half Kershaw still solid but not unhittable any longer and poor playoff results and their weak link Hill. I priced this series at 1.60 giving us excellent value.
Washington Nationals over Los Angeles Dodgers Best of 5 Series bet UPDATE: We have Wash for the series heading into game 5. We are getting a take back of +1.89. The current line for game 5 Strasburg vs. Buehler is +1.52 so we obviously have excellent value. Lad should be favored tonight at home better bullpen but not by this much. Regardless you can now leverage your series bet if you want locking in a profit with no risk. Personally to start the game I am not. Depending how the game is playing out I will bet the Lad live if necessary to secure a profit hopefully Wash jumps out to a lead and we will go from there. However I expect a pitchers duel low scoring to the late innings a real nail bitter. We shall see.
