Kansas City Chiefs over New England Patriots AFC Championship game: Even on the road anytime you want to back the combo of Brady and Belichick you are going to pay a premium. We will call the offenses equal for this game. However they do go about their business differently. Kc has more weapons and they are more explosive. NE depends on short passes and ball control on the ground with Michel.I do expect NE to have success running the ball but if they do fall behind as I expect they will that patience will be tested. NE lacks a pass rush and Kc will have some success putting pressure on Brady which further increases the likelihood of the run game and short passes do get the ball out quick. Mahomes has passed every test big time and will not be intimidated especially at home by this stage. So it comes down to which defense can get key stops at the right time. Statistically NE has the edge and the markets want to focus on Kc being ranked 31st on the defensive side however just ask Indi this defense has continued to improve from early on the year. I have this game at 4.5 giving us excellent value.
