Carolina Panthers over San Francisco 49er’s: Car lost their first 2 of the year and has now won 4 in a row since Allen has taken over at QB. Allen has not been spectacular but he has ben steady and he has not thrown an interception. When you have a potential MVP in McCaffrey that obviously helps. Car provides an excellent pass rush and they are 2nd in the league for sacks. SF has injuries along the offensive line and this will be an issue throughout the game. Garoppolo has ben OK but nothing great as the SF rush attack has been excellent. Look for Car to stack the line forcing SF to try and move the ball through the air. Given the state off their offensive line and their outstanding tight end Kittle not close to 100% with a groin injury Car could cause a number of turnovers. Car is off a bye SF played on the east coast in that mess against Wash; they also have a short week coming up with a Thursday night game in Arizona. I believe the s/u winner of this game will be in doubt until the final possession with the points offered providing a substantial cushion. I made the line 4.0 giving us excellent value.
