Just a reminder for those on android devices the 2019 app is available for download. Regarding apple app it looks like it will be at least another week before it is available in the store. Therefore if any of you would like me to email the picks to you temporarily on a daily basis until the 2019 version is available just let me know and I will put you on the list.
Must wins and revenge situations are 2 of the bigger myths and useless angles in all of sports betting. Just because a team “must win” does not mean they will win and more importantly that they will cover. The line maker will shade the line to the must win team knowing the public is going to jump all over them so first off you are going to be paying a premium if you choose to bet that side.
You must also look at what is the motivation for the opposing team. Often teams with nothing to lose will play better with no pressure. Teams not accustomed to must win situations often tighten up play too conservatively afraid to make mistakes and actually lose games outright.
Revenge what good is this if the other team is just consistently the better team. No matter how bad a beating they put on last time does not guarantee the losing team will be able to step up and reverse the results with simply a revenge motive.
As usual whenever deciding to bet a game it is NEVER enough to lock into 1 factor and conclude that is all you need to determine value and make a good bet.
