I have had a number of questions of how to effectively use teasers. So here are my guidelines. I ONLY use teasers for the NFL where points are the most valuable. We will average 7-10 teasers over the course of a Nfl season. Teasers should NOT BE a substitution of picking a single winner game match up. I only play 6 point teasers to keep the juice at -1.10. I only use teasers to take my line through the key numbers. In other words if I am the favorite the teaser will reduce the line under 7 and 3 points or it has no value.

At the close of business today we will have reached the 3 quarter pole of our sports betting year. 9 months in 3 months to go. NBA and NCAAB are just around the corner and NHL well who knows.
It has been an outstanding year so far. My personal R.O.I. is sitting at 9.116%. Your ROI should as good as mine if not better. There are really only 3 reasons that would result in your ROI not being as good. Only 1 reason is acceptable.
1)You have not been a member on the site for the whole calendar year.
2)You are missing plays.

Good bettors are going to get “unlucky” sometimes for extended periods of time. Accept it handle it and move on. The bad beats do not even out. The better bets you make the more unlucky you will be. You will be on the right side more than the wrong side and win because of your handicapping. Therefore the short term luck factor can only work against you.

It does not matter what the $ value is of your unit. Successful sports bettors know the value of half a point on the spread or a penny on the money line. Successful bettors will be on the right side of a half point victory more times than not. He will win when others push and he will push when others lose. The successful sports investor will have at LEAST 3-5 sports books to shop at in order to lock in at the best line possible. Losing players well it is whenever the bookie gets around to calling you or you calling your bookie.

Betting baseball in September is a different animal than the rest of the year. Look for pitchers that have run out of gas. This usually coincides with the amount of innings they have pitched on the year. Conversely look for pitchers with fresh arms that have low innings pitched maybe due to injury or being called up etc.
Rosters are expanded giving the manager more flexibility with catchers, the bullpen, pinch running and hitting. You must keep an eye on the daily line ups and who has been added to the roster.

The Ncaaf season is just underway after our 2-0 Saturday, we head into our busy fall season and volume begins to pick up. Reminder plays for NCAAF and NFL can be released at anytime through the week depending on line movement and when we can get maximum value. Also remember on Saturdays Ncaaf usually gets going noon EST so do not miss any early Saturday morning email picks. A half point difference on the spread as most of you know is huge. It can be the difference between a winning and losing season let alone the impact on just 1 game.
