Consensus Decision Making 07/07/13 (more...)

If you do your own handicapping please make sure you do not rely on your friends, peers, talking heads on TV, or anyone else for that matter to help you make your betting selections. Consensus decision making does not work in conventional business and it especially does not work in this business.
A strong leader will gather as much objective information as he can and then make a decision. The same holds true for this business. Just because someone is on the opposite side to you on a given game is irrelevant. As long as you have not missed any KEY relevant OBJECTIVE information and you have found value in the line bet your play and let the results play out.
If you do not have the knowledge, experience or time to do your own handicapping than follow the picks of ONE person you trust have faith in and who has a proven track record. Follow someone whose records are all on display accurately and who does not make outrageous claims. Most importantly NEVER NEVER pay for picks. With the individual you follow you MUST bet all his picks or none. You cannot pick and choose the ones you bet or you are exposing yourself to luck and randomness.
Stay away from “know it all’s” I do not know it all I do not have all the answers. However I do have a 20+ year proven track record. A winning gambler is always looking to improve. The games change and evolve and so does the marketplace. It is important to adapt and stay current.
