Dallas Mavericks over San Antonio Spurs: Let us be clear Sa is still the best team in the west. However tonight this game means more to Dall than Sa. That does not mean Dall will win or cover what it does mean we will get their top effort. Dall was the only team to challenge Sa in the playoffs last year taking them to 7 games.

Think the first game this year in the Nhl when sj took down lak on the road. Sa tonight will be without Leonard Splitter and Mills. Yes they still have the big 3 but Pop is not going to over work them anytime during the regular season let alone the first game. That leaves Sa with an awfully thin bench. Dall should be in the top 5 of the west. I like what they have done this offseason. Bringing back Chandler will help the defense big time a second option on offense will be Parsons taking the load off Nowitski. Nelson replaces Caldaron at the point both are weak defensively. The straight out winner will be in doubt until the end of this one with the points offered giving us a nice cushion.
