Detroit Pistons over Memphis Grizzlies: Det won their opening game at home 113-102 over Wash. I am not putting too much emphasis on that. The acquisition of Smith from Atl will help. The front court of Monroe and Drummond is formidable. Mem lost in SA 112-108 that final was not as close as the game really was.

Mem has not made many changes but did change their head coach for some reason. Mem again will be strong defensively but they lack the outside shooting to blow teams away. In addition Mem has weak bench. This game should be in doubt to the final few positions and with Mem playing tomorrow in Dall while Det is off the substantial points offered provide excellent value for an improving Det team.
