One of the most common and biggest problems many sports bettors have is called “chasing”. How many times do you lose an early game on the menu and then search to find a late game regardless of value to bet on to try and make up for your early loss. Not only do some bet on games they normally would not but they also increase their unit digging the hole even deeper.
The other form of “chasing” is when you have won the early game. Now you are hot you feel invincible. You again find another game to bet on double your unit and predictably lose. So you end up 1-1 on the day and lose a substantial amount of money.
Do not fall into this trap. You will not survive operating this way. You will have losing days, weeks, and month’s even individual sports seasons. I do everyone does. That is why money management is so important. The difference however with the pros they know when to take their lumps walk away and survive to fight another day.
