Entertainment/Hobby vs. Business 06/28/15 (more...)

If you approach this endeavor as having a little fun a hobby wanting a few bucks on the game while watching it on TV nothing wrong with that. However if you want to make substantial money turn a profit year after tear than sports betting must be approached as a business. A GREAT business in my opinion but none the less a business. As with any business you need an investment (it takes some money to make money) and you need discipline.
Each game is a business deal that you will either participate in or pass on. A knowledgeable business person always researches each deal on its’ merits and then decides. Going into a business deal without fully researching ALL the information and circumstances will result in a bad business.
RISK the same amount of money on EVERY business deal. There are no locks there are no 5 star 10 star ranking systems that work. If you use some type of star system fairly soon you are going to be sleeping under the stars. If you like 1 game and you knida like 2 other games why even bet the other 2 games. Yes the more games you bet the more you churn your bankroll the better but you must have value you must have an edge. If you are an action junkie you are in the wrong business.
