Last week we talked about the time intensive nature of this business. So what happens if you do not have the time or knowledge or experiences to adequately do this business; but you want to learn and participate.
Well not that much different than finding a stock broker or financial consultant with a proven track record you need to find a professional sports handicapper. Someone you can learn from someone that is transparent someone that tells it like it is with reasonable expectations AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DOES NOT charge for his picks. That person is called a TOUT! Does the person make money from his sports bets or from selling his picks?
What should you look for in trying to find somebody? Historical records, longevity, honesty, integrity, can you contact them, no games or locks of the year. Lastly and most importantly are they setting you up with reasonable expectations based on sound money management principles.
This is the last Sunday even if it will be spring baseball without baseball until November.
