Do you realize that in less than 45 days pitchers and catchers report for spring training? In my opinion there is no other sport that has a greater anticipation for opening day than major league baseball. The beginning of spring and the 162 game marathon over the hot summer months that make up the season concluding with the drama of the fall classic.
This year will have an added drama of an extra wild card being added to the playoffs. Of course it helps when baseball has provided us historically with our highest return on investment than any other sport tracking over 20+ years of results.
