Los Angeles Clippers over Los Angeles Lakers: Really no home court in this game with both teams playing out of Staples. The only reason this line is under double digits is the name Lakers. The lakers will be hard pressed even with Kobe to make the playoffs as it is comprised now. They are old and slow Nash and Gasol are 1 year older. Nash is suffering already from a sore ankle and neck obviously Kobe is a no go.

The lakers will have cast offs Young, Johnson, Blake, Farmer and Williams in the lineup going against the young fast and athletic Clippers. Clippers have added some nice pieces with Redick, Dudley and Mullens. The biggest added piece coach Rivers a huge upgrade over Del Negro especially on the defensive end. Lakers had no answer for Paul last year and that was with a better team. No love lost for these 2 teams so I do not see the Clippers letting up tonight especially the first game of the year while the lakers may not chase too hard from behind anyway with a game against GS tomorrow.
