The very long Mlb season begins tonight when the call PLAY BALL will be screamed out for real the first time this season.
Baseball is our most important sport year in year out. It has the most events at 2,430 + playoffs and hence represents the most dollars bet of any sport for a year. Baseball historically provides us on average the highest R.O.I.than any other sport.
All plays I post to the website are for LISTED pitchers ONLY unless I specify in the game analysis differently. Occasionally we will bet only 1 listed pitcher or action but most times it will be for both pitchers listed. Therefore if there is a pitching change between the time we bet and first pitch we will have NO action on that bet.
Generally you will have less lead time from when I post the pick to when the first pitch takes place. Hopefully at least 1 hour. Especially in day games that follow a night game or on Sundays it is important to see the starting line ups first to see who is resting before placing our bets.
Value in baseball is just as important as any other sport. Just because we deal in money lines and not point spreads it has just as big an impact on the bottom line. If you are spending 2+ cents on every line more than you should the play has probably already lost its’ value and is not even a bet anymore. You will also be very shocked when you see what your R.O.I is at the end of the season compared to the people that booked their plays right away and shopped for the best line effectively.
Personally baseball is my favorite sport. So let the long long season begin and enjoy the ride and profits.
