The NHL regular season begins on Tuesday. At the beginning of each hockey season I give you the yearly reminder. As specified on the NHL page of my website. ALL games we bet are based on the first 60 minutes in other words regulation time ONLY. I am not interested in risking money based on a 4 on 4 five minute OT or worse a skills competition they call a shootout.
If we are tied at the end of regulation and had bet the money line than we end up with a push. If we spotted half a puck and we tied at end of regulation we lost. If we took back half a puck and tied at the end of regulation we won.
Historically you will generally find the biggest difference from book to book on lines in hockey than any other sport. So shopping becomes even more essential to ensure you are getting the best line. Pinnacle (if you are able to open an account there) and 5dimes are the best books for betting hockey. You need an account at both places if you can or at the very least 5dimes if you cannot have an account at Pinnacle.
