Information Age 02/02/14 (more...)

In the pre-historic age of sports betting information was at a premium prior to the internet. The serious sports bettor had a big advantage if they were able to get out of town newspapers and or contacts in various cities.
Fast forward today and even the most casual bettor has access to a vast amount of information from anywhere in the world to help them make educated informed bets. However with this technology comes a danger. Yes the playing field is now completely level unlike the stock market.
What now determines your success is not what information you have but how you interpret that information.
“ It ain’t that bettors do not know much; it is that they know too much that ain’t true or important”.
