There is a much wider gap in starting pitching than the line reflects. There is nothing wrong with Lees’ stuff. His BAA is 225 with the usual outstanding ratio of 47K vs 8BB. Nym depend on working the count and getting walks. When you have a pitcher that does not give up the long ball and pounds the strike zone the Nym will struggle to score. Nym are also just 7-13 on the year vs LH. Gee is a solid pitcher who also does not walk guys but he has average stuff and a BAA of 277.
