Baltimore Ravens over Pittsburgh Steelers: We get a favorable line tonight for 2 main reasons. People banking on the Rice distraction as being an issue for Balt. Balt was prepared to play without Rice far before this. If Balt does not win tonight it will have nothing to do with the Rice controversy. Second is last week’s result. Balt played a decent game at home against a very good Cinci team. They were burned on 2 long balls to Green.

Now the urgency to not start the year 0-2 both at home is sky high. Pitts was taking care of Clev big deal but it was ugly. Pitts blew a 24 point half time lead against a horrible offense and needed a last second field goal to win the game. Now they have to travel on a short week and play a divisional rival in a foul mood. Excellent value on the home team with a sense of urgency spotting less than a field goal. Look for the Pitts defense to get further exposed tonight to what they are a bunch of aging veterans past their prime.
