Play Ball!03/27/2011(more...)

~Platy Ball!~10-3 ( 76.9%) is our current run as we are having a decent March Madness. Good momentum building as we start in on a busy spring; NHL and NBA playoffs around the corner MLB about to start.

The sound of play ball will be shouted across ballparks as MLB gets going for real starting Thursday. The journey called MLB will lasts 7 months and takes us all the way to the end of October. MLB on average represents over one-third of our total dollars bet on a yearly basis. To say this sport is critical to our overall ROI bottom line yearly would be an understatement.

Baseball historically from over 20 years of tracking provides us with our highest ROI on a yearly basis. Although this does vary on occasion with other sports stepping up in particular years. They refer to baseball as a game of inches and it really is. If you have not already done so to prepare yourself for the upcoming season read the betting tip article posted to the website on March 7 dated MLB The Marathon Begins.

MLB has many day games during the week days and also obviously on the weekends. When we are interested in a particular game on a Sunday or a day game that is to be played after the 2 teams played a night game; you will often not find our pick posted to the site until 45 minutes before first pitch. The reason is we want to see the starting line ups BEFORE we make the bet. We want to see what regulars maybe rested BEFORE risking our money. My point is there will be many times where the lead time to book your bets will be about 30 minutes so stay alert and do not miss any bets.

Always always bet listed pitchers unless I specify differently when I post the pick. Although with MLB we mainly deal in money lines and not point spreads it is just as important to get the best line possible. Do your shopping have multiple sports book accounts and do not chase after bad numbers. You must get at least as good a line as I post with the pick if not better. Our MLB picks are based on THAT line. If we were not getting THAT line we would not be making that bet. If you are consistently booking your MLB plays at as worse line your profits at the end of the season will be substantially different. It could even be the difference between a winning and losing season.

So buckle up and enjoy the ride for the 2011 MLB season !
