Sd is just 16-25 vs. LH on the year. Volquez is a mess right now. Admittedly his mechanics are all out of whack. If he does not discover it back and quick this has the potential to be a blow out. Volquez has an ugly ratio of 128K vs. 84BB. He has not made it past the 5th inng in his last 3 starts. Meanwhile Maholm is 6-1 with a 1.18 ERA in his last 8 starts. This includes his time before the trade starting for the awful cubs.
