I cannot stress enough how important it is to shop for the best line possible every time you make a bet. In order to accomplish this you need to be dealing with a minimum of 4 sports books regardless of the dollar value of your unit.
Whether it is half a point on the spread or 2 cents on the money line effectively shopping adds thousands of dollars to your profits on a yearly basis without even increasing your win%. It is no difference to shopping when you are making a major personal purchase. If you see a car on 1 lot for 30K are you not going to walk across the street to the competitor’s lot to see what price is available there? In this business it is even easier no walking involved.
