You must develop a disciplined methodical approach to sports betting. ALWAYS do your work or trust someone who does. Obviously I lose games from bad beats, bad reads etc. However I can emphatically say I NEVER lose a game because I did not do my work. My work would include the regular number crunching and analysis. As well as taking into account ALL the intangibles which is more important than the number crunching. Any doorknob can work a calculator and punch out a result. Even if you crunch the numbers properly guess what those numbers are already incorporated into the bookmakers line. I will NEVER lose a game because I missed a piece of information.
Knowing when NOT to bet is as important as knowing what to bet. Do not make bets on hunches just to have action. Like most endeavors hard intelligent work are the keys to sports handicapping success.
