No taking away that Lohse has had a very good year. However he was showing signs of fatigue coming down the stretch after a full year. Medlen will be fresh he entered the starting rotation half way through the year. Atl has won 23 consecutive starts that Medlen has taken the hill. Medlen under the rated was the undisputed top pitcher in MLB the last 2 months. In 12 starts 9-0 with a 0.97 ERA. Atl has a deep and talented bullpen to be able to close this out. This one game elimination will not bother Medlen who is a low key easy going guy.
