Laffey is nothing more than a AAA pitcher at best. This will be the 2nd look Bost will get at him within a month. Laffey is here because of injuries not merit. Bost is 20-10 vs. LH. Also keeping this line lower than it should be is the surface stats of Beckett. He had injuries early on in the year and although his W/L is not where it usually is of this ace pitcher his key stats are really not that far off. Bost is getting healthy again. Crawford,Ellsbury and Pedroia are all back. Tor who are 3-7 in their last 10 will be without Bautista and possibly Lawrie as well as an injured and worn out bullpen.
