Washington Nationals over San Diego Padres: We won with Wash yesterday and will not hesitate to come back on them today. To repeat I rate the offenses and bullpens equal however again today the gap in starting pitching is much wider in favor of Wash than the posted line.

Strasburg gets all the headlines for Wash deep starting rotation but it is Zimmermann that is the most consistent ace of this staff. Zimmermann his last 4 starts a 0.95 ERA. Wash is 7-1 on the season when he starts. Stults on the surface has fairly good stats but it has come against weak competition. He is a 33 year old middle reliever converted to a starter not exactly a prospect. Although Wash is 4-3 on the year vs. LH a concern is a overall 192 BAA against LH which I am fully expecting to start to trend upwards.
