Arizona Coyotes over Ottawa Senators 60 Minutes ONLY: Ariz has only played one game so far a home OT win against Phil. This Ariz team has depth and Talent and for the most part stays under the radar given where they play. This will be game one of a 6 game road trip and generally all teams have their best game at the start of a road trip. Meanwhile Ott will play their 3rd in 4 after losing in Det last night 5-1. Ott has one very strong line and stud defensemen. Unlike Ariz they lack quality depth. I have this game at 1.05 giving us excellent value.
Cincinnati Bengals over New England Patriots: So much for rust with the return of Brady and him throwing for over 400 yards. So NE destroyed Clev while Cinci has lost 3 of 4 s/u incl pulling a no show last week vs. Dall. Combine all this we get a favorable number. I have this game at 5.5 giving us excellent value. Cinci has played the 4th toughest schedule NE comes in at 28th. Cinci will be able to move the ball through the air ranking 5th in passing offense while NE comes in at 18th in pass defense.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons over Florida State Seminoles: I am not expecting Wake to have a chance s/u however with these many inflated points offered that is not critical. Wake can effectively run the ball and that is a big adv as a big dog. Chews up clock and keeps the game close. This a flat spot for Flor St. as I often refer to win and move on. Flor St. is off a physical emotional win over Mia 20-19 a blocked extra point with one minute left. Next on tap Clemson. Wake would do little to motivate a spirited effort by the home side.
Tampa Bay Lightning over Detroit Red Wings 60 Minutes ONLY: TB maybe the most complete team heading into this season. The gang is back plus Stamkos Headman signed to long term deals. Det and their run of 25 seasons to post season will be challenged this year. Datsyuk is gone. The back end is weak. They have key injuries to start the year and although Zetterberg will play his knee has been bothering him all pre-season. If this game were played deeper in the season the line would be well over 2.00.
Chicago Bears over Indianapolis Colts: We successfully faded an over rated Indi team last week in London winning with a previously winless Jack team. Now without a bye Indi returns home to play Chic. Looks like Hoyer will get the start over hurt Cutler. I would prefer Hoyer anyway. Chic is not a good team but we are not asking them to win we are asking them to cover. Regardless despite Luck at QB who says Indi is a good team . They have a weak offensive line and that is definitely affecting Luck. Even though Chic is 1-3 s/u those 3 losses are to teams a combined 9-2.
Baltimore Ravens over Washington Redskins: I was pro Wash to start the year but that view has changed. Their win over the worst team in the NFL last week at home was anything but impressive. Balt gave up a TD with under 2 to go to lose vs. Oak last week. However these are like old times for Balt having the number 1 defense overall to date with an improved offense. Both these teams have played weak schedules. Wash has a home game on tap vs. Phil a divisional rival. I have this game at 6.5 giving us excellent value.
The NHL regular season gets underway. For those of you that have been following me for a while this Grapevine will act a reminder for those of you new please take note. Arkansas Razorbacks over Alabama Crimson Tide: Ala comes in the #1 ranked team and deservedly so. 5-0 a high profile team led by Saban to bet on them you will almost always pay a premium. That soed not mean they will not cover because anything can happen in one game but it will cost you more if you take that side. Last year in Ala they beat Ark 27-14. Now the venue changes to Ark. Ark is no pushover they are ranked 16th. In what will likely be a lower scoring game the points offered are substantial with the value pointing to the home team.
Boston Red Sox over Cleveland Indians: We cashed with a number of times down the stretch with Porcello and the Bost offense. The gap between the starting pitchers for this one is much wider than the posted the line. Porcello has emerged as the fav for Cy Young and #1 for Bost more consistent than Price. There were no signs of fatigued in Sept. Bauer gets the opening start because of injuries. He is a decent pitcher with even additional upside but that is for another day. He is the #4 starter for Clev.
