San Jose Sharks over Calgary Flames: After a cold run Sj is hot again. They have won 6 in a row. They cannot afford to take Cal lightly as 1st round home ice advantage is at stake. Sj is the top defensive home team. Sj has played a much tougher schedule than Cal.

Texas Rangers over Houston Astros: Houst moves to the AL this year. Houst highly likely will be the worst team in all of baseball. If they do not lose 100+ games it will be a shock. Houst was 15-27 against LH last year.

Michigan Wolverines over Kansas Jayhawks: My thought that Mich was under seeded to begin the tournament seems to be a reality as they face a number 1 seed Kansas. Yes Mich did struggle down the stretch but they seem to have things back on course. Mich does not turn the ball over have excellent PG play and coaching for this game at worst a wash.

Minnesota Wild over Phoenix Coyotes: Outside of Pitts there is no team playing better right now than Minn. We rode that train Monday night in Dall and despite an off night by Backstrom we still won 7-4. Minn has won 6 in a row and is 11-3-1 at home. Phx is 3-8-3 on the road and with Smith out is forced to go with back up Labarera.

Minnesota Wild over Dallas Stars: After a slow start and many changes the big signings Minn made in the off season are starting to pay off. Minn has won 5 in a row and 12 of their last 16.

Los Angeles Kings over Vancouver Canucks: La is an outstanding 12-3-1 at home and that is after a slow start. They have not lost 2 in a row at home all year. They are coming off a loss to Dall 2-0 in a game they dominated 40-21 SOG. Suter called out his top line and I am expecting a bounce back today.

Davidson Wildcats over Marquette Golden Eagles: The first thing to grab your attention is this is a 14th seed vs. a 3 seed and the line is very low. An outright win by Dav would not be that great of an upset despite the seedings.
