New York Rangers over New Jersey Devils: NYR are healthy now with the return of Nash who is playing excellent. Brodeur will be in net tonight for NJ and as I have said numerous times this year he is past his prime as is many of the devils.
Dallas Stars over Toronto Maple Leafs: As long as these lines are posted with an overrated tor team we will continue to fade them. Tor has 2 regulation wins since the end of Oct. Kessel is hurting but will play Bozak is out.
Montreal Canadians over Toronto Maple Leafs: Tor is continually outplayed and outshoot almost every game. They have one of the worst shot differentials in the NHL. You cannot compete let alone win games consistently in the league any night that you are not bailed out by your goalie.
Boston Bruins over Detroit Red Wings: Small price to lay even on the road with the better team is much better form right now.
New York Rangers over Tampa Bay Lightning: Tb comes home from a west coast road trip losing 4 in a row and were outscored 17-6. They were able to survive the first few games without Stamkos and Malone but it is now catching up with them.
Colorado Avalanche over Florida Panthers: Flor has 1 win on the road this year. Tonight they will go back to back on the road in the altitude of Col a team that will not be taking them lightly.
New York Rangers over New Jersey Devils: Since the Rangers started the year on their 9 game road trip while MSG was being renovated they have gradually turned the corner and living up to their early forecasts. Nyr have won 6 of 7 and have not given up more than 2 goals only once in their last 10 games. The offense has also begun to show balance and depth.
Colorado Avalanche over Winnipeg Jets: Very difficult spot for Winn. This will be their 4th game in 6 days. The last 3 games have gone to OT. This will be their 3rd road game in a row as they travel to the altitude of Col.
Boston Bruins over New Jersey Devils: You will not find a bigger goaltending gap than Brodeur and his 865 save% vs. Rask and his 957 save%. NJ is winless on the road so far this year at 0-5-2.
Anaheim Ducks over Toronto Maple Leafs: The hottest team right now in the NHL Ana with 7 in a row. In 5 of their last 6 games they have given up 2 goals or less. For argument sake we will say the offenses and goaltending are equal. The big difference is on defense where there is no comparison in these 2 teams.
