He was expected to battle for the #5 spot however with injuries to Beachy, Medlen and Minor he gets into the 2 hole on the road for his first start of the year.

Seattle Mariners over Los Angeles Angels: It will not be often we will be able to pick up Hernandez even on the road as a dog. King Felix is still one of the best pitchers in the game. Sea offense which has been an issue for years will be improved with the additions of Cano, Hart and Morrison.

St. Louis Cardinals over Los Angeles Dodgers: Cheap price even on the road with Stl and ace Wainwright going. This environment will not affect him. Stl had the disadvantage in the first 2 games on the mound at home and beat both Lad aces. Now they have a chance to put a strangle hold on this series.
