After a slow start LAD are headed where everyone thought they would. 16-3 in their last 19 5 wins in a row and hitting 319 vs RH in their last 10 games.

Atlanta Braves over Miami Marlins: Minor is better on the road than at home. He is 6-1 with a 2.63 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP.

Washington Nationals over San Diego Padres: The Wash offense has underperformed all year until recently. If not for the starting pitching led by tonight’s starter Gonzalez they would be in trouble. Gonzalez has a 213 BAA and a WHIP of 1.14.

New York Yankees over Minnesota Twins: A medium amount of juice to be laying on the road with a NYY team definitely not the same as prior years. However for this matchup we still have value. Sabathia results are not up to his high standards but there is nothing wrong with his stuff. 11-6 team W/L record when he starts. A 245 BAA on the road just a bunch of cluster hits negatively effecting his ERA.

Washington Nationals over Milwaukee Brewers: Not often even at home we will lay this type of juice but today it is warranted still providing value. Mil is a terrible road team at 13-25. They have lost 5 in a row scoring a total of 11 runs in those losses. Sunday in Pitts with a rain delay thrown in they played 14 inngs and lost 2-1. Mil bullpen is burnt out having to throw 11.6 inngs yesterday.

Detroit Tigers over Tampa Bay Rays: The front runner for AL Cy Young this year the pitcher on the mound for Det tonight Scherzer. A 148 BAA on the road with 122K vs. only 24 BB. For a TB team struggling on offense 2.6 runs in their last 8 at home this is a bad combination.

St. Louis Cardinals over Houston Astros: Advantage of home field for this matchup is minimal given Stl very familiar with these surroundings given all the years Houst was in the NL and same division as Stl.

Seattle Mariners over Los Angeles Angels: We won with Hernandez last time out and will not hesitate to come back on him tonight. As mentioned last time the risk always becomes the Sea offense but again at this price point it is worth the risk. Sea was able to score 4 in the last start with 1 swing of the bat a grand slam by Blanco of all people. Hernandez arguably is the best pitcher in baseball.

Kansas City Royals over Cleveland Indians: Despite having to lay some juice on the road I have this game at -1.55 so we are getting excellent value.

Seattle Mariners over Oakland Athletics: It is always risky playing on Sea with their horrible offense. However at this price with Hernandez on the bump it is well worth the risk. Oak is not exactly crushing the ball. Oak offense always depends on walks and home runs not on base %. However what happens when they go up against a pitcher that does not walk people and rarely gives up the long ball. Exactly they struggle.
