His 196 BAA ranks near the tops in the majors. He has been able to control his wicked split finger lowering his walk total while maintaining his strikeouts. Keeping this line lower than it should be is his 4-7 team record when he starts. However that is more a factor of lack of run support than pitching.

Washington Nationals over San Diego Padres: We won with Wash yesterday and will not hesitate to come back on them today. To repeat I rate the offenses and bullpens equal however again today the gap in starting pitching is much wider in favor of Wash than the posted line.
