They tossed a hail mary with a 10 player trade to try and make the playoffs and early on it has not worked out. Buff is a bottom feeder they will not make the playoffs but they are headed in the right direction. They come to play and give it their all for coach Bylsma. Another reason for the inflated line is Kane will be out tonight. That has been accounted in the line and then some.

For years Stl has been a strong team and although they are still solid not close to how they have been. Stl is strong defensively but they are really struggling to score goals. That puts a lot of pressure on the goaltending and defense. Flor has taken major strides this year.
