Clemson Tigers over NC State Wolfpack: NC St down year for them although not much was expected. They are just 3-10 in conf play. Their defense has really let them down. NC st. has their game of the year coming up when they face rival N.Car.

UCLA Bruins over Utah Utes: UCLA has played the 9th toughest schedule in all of ncaab. They also have not fared well against the top teams in the Pac 12 and they face another tonight in UT. However all of this and more has been factored into the line. UCLA has excellent and deep balanced scoring. UCLA will need to wi the Pac 12 tourny in order to make it to the big dance.

Utep Miners over Southern Miss Golden Eagles: Not often I will lay this type of wood but it is justified and then some tonight. It has taken awhile after UTEP lost 4 starters from last year but they have hit their stride. The Tim Floyd system is in full force. The offense is efficient and playing at a very fast paced making this line even less of a hurdle.

New Mexico Lobos over Boise State Broncos: Again revenge angle has this line lower than it should be. On 01/30 New Mex went into B. St and as a 7.5 point dog won outright 88-83. Now the venue changes and for many years the Pitt is a very hard place to play as visitor.

Florida Atlantic Owls over UTEP Miners: On 01/21 Utep beat Fau 71-56 as an 8 point favorite at home. This is one of the reasons this line is elevated. Utep as 1 road win all year and that was the last time out on Thurs against FIU where they shot over 50%. I do not see a repeat of that tonight.

Utah Utes over Oregon Ducks: There are a number of reasons this line is over inflated. Org is 14-0 s/u at home. Org has won 5 in a row s/u and ATS. Org beat Ut on the road 01/14 77-59. Ut actually has an adv in height which should allow them to control the boards and paint.

Providence Friars over Villanova Wildcats: Regular readers will know revenge is one of the overrated handicapping tools. On Jan 24th Prov went into Vill took the game to OT and won as a 12.5 point dog 82-76.

Colorado Buffaloes over California Golden Bears: Not easy in college just like the pros to play in the altitude of Col especially when you are not used to it. Col is 11-1 s/u at home and are playing their best ball of the year.

VCU Rams over Davidson Wildcats: VCU started the year 5-5 but since has gone 10-0 s/u and 7-0 in conf play. VCU really likes to push the pace an excellent offense and they are a real tough team to prepare for.
