Pittsburgh Steelers over Baltimore Ravens: Both teams look to be able to move the ball through the air despite the weather. I will be anticipating a high scoring game for the playoffs and two teams that know each other very well. Yes RB Bell out for Pitts is a loss but Pitts did sign Tate and rookie Harris by all reports is looking good. Regardless the loss of Bell is well factored in this low line.
Arizona Cardinals over Carolina Panthers: This figures to be a low scoring game making the points offered a mountain to overcome. Car is the only team in the playoffs with a losing record. If it were not for the putrid NFC south Car would not even be in the playoffs.
Jacksonville Jaguars over Houston Texans: Houst still has a slim chance to make the playoffs that alone has them overrated. Houst for the second week in a row will start 4th stringer Keenum at QB. Last week he went 20-42 for only 185 yards. I expect this to be a low scoring game so getting this amount of points is huge. Jack will be coming in with 10 days rest after beating Tenn.
New York Giants over Philadelphia Eagles: Tough to see how Phil gets motivated for this one on the road. They were eliminated last week. Conversely Nyg have been out for a while. The Chip Kelly system of playing fast on offense kills the defense has the season goes along. Phil defense has given up 83 points the last 3 games. Phil has lost 3 in a row while Nyg have won 3 in a row.
Washington Redskins over Dallas Cowboys: This is simply too many points especially on the road for a game that essentially means nothing. Dall has won the division and are virtually locked in. Romo has a bad back Murray has a broken hand they have little motivation to win let alone by a margin.
Oakland Raiders over Buffalo Bills: This many points on the road with Orton at QB. Are you kidding me? Yes Buff has a very good defense but this game is a letdown spot for Buff. Yes Buff is a long shot to make the playoffs but that fact they still have a chance has them overvalued.
Pittsburgh Steelers over Kansas City Chiefs: Kc sure is getting a lot of respect here. First of all we have a huge adv at QB with Roethlisberger over Smith. Since the offensive line of has gotten healthy Bell and the running game has its’ stride and that has opened up the passing game for Pitts especially the chemistry between Brown and Roth.
New Orleans Saints over Chicago Bears: Not often I will lay road points especially a Monday night. However despite the fact both teams are 5-8 NO is in a battle for the division while Chic is playing out the string. We have a huge adv at QB with Brees vs. Cutler. Trestman is part of the walking dead. He will be fired by years end. Marshall is out so No will be able to key in on Jeffery.
Carolina Panthers over Tampa Bay Buccaneers: As hard as it is to believe at 4-8-1 Car still has a legitimate chance to make the playoffs. Tb is playing out the string and Lovie has already admitted he will be looking at players with the perspective of next year. Yes Newton will not go but he was having an off year anyway. Anderson is a very capable backup and he is better than McCown anyway.
Arizona Cardinals over Kansas City Chiefs: WE went down with Ariz last week on the road against a bad Atl team. We will not hesitate to come back on them this week. Prior to the loss last week Ariz also lost on the road to Sea. Now they are back home where they are 6-0 s/u 5-1 ATS.
