Tennessee Volunteers #368 over UAB Blazers: Tenn cannot afford to take this game lightly. They have big adv in experience and size. UAB is already bowl eligible at 6-1. However they are in way over their heads here on the road. Tenn has played the 18th ranked strength of schedule while UAB comes in at 189. The only decent team they played W Kent they lost. Look for Tenn to use multiple QB’s again for this game as they did against S.Car. I have this game at 16.0 giving us excellent value.
Virginia Cavaliers #191 over Louisville Cardinals: Both teams play at a slow pace. However in my opinion Virg is the much better team especially on offense and specifically at the QB position. I have this game at 5.5 giving us excellent value.
Charlotte 49ers #411 over Western Kentucky Hilltoppers: The market has really been impressed with W. Kent and rightfully so. However that has inflated the price on this game. W.Kent offense is OK but to be spotting this much wth a total this low is always a challenge. CHarl is a decent team with balance on offense. They should be able to create enough offense to stay well within this number. I have this game at 7.5 giving us excellent value.
Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles #383 over Louisiana Tech Bulldogs: The market has undervalued S. Miss this whole season. Excellent QB Abraham accurate methodical he can carve you up. L.Tech has also a solid offense but a weak defense. Even on the road I made this game 3.5 giving us excellent value.
Northern Illinois Huskies #363 over Miami Ohio Redhawks: We successfully played on N.Ill last week stating they are an undervalued team and they remain so this week. N.Ill was good last year and this team is not much different than 2018. Mi Oh has a decent defense but they will simply not be able to keep pace in this one given their offense is bad. The path to beating N.Ill is to pass the ball on their weak secondary but Mi Oh has no pass offense. I made the line 4.0 giving us excellent value.
Iowa Hawkeyes #204 over Penn St. Nittany Lions: Big game for both teams which shapes up to be a defensive battle. I will prefer SR QB Stanley at home over Clifford for Penn St. 2 similar teams both rely on the defense give me home field adv and throw in a big field goal on Saturday night for value. I have this game at pick giving us excellent value.
Northern Illinois Huskies #161 over Ohio Bobcats: This line is an over reaction from last week. N.Ill lost at home to an underrated Ball St. team. Oh won a tough OT battle on the road vs. Buff. Oh lost much production on offense in the skilled positions from last year. Although N.Ill is just 1-4 s/u they are 3-2 ATS. N.Ill should have success running the ball in this game. In my opinion N.Ill can win this game outright with the points offered providing a substantial cushion. I have this game at 4.0 giving us excellent value.
UTEP Miners #396 over UTSA Roadrunners: Not exactly a marque matchup value is value and the money is the same win as the Super Bowl. 2 very bad teams. UTEP has a winnable game at home and they will be motivated. UTEP weakness is pass defense but UTSA cannot throw the ball especially with backup QB Narcisse who is brutal. UTSA is 129th in rush defense and what UTEP can do is stop the run and rush on offense controlling the clock and grinding out a win. I have this game at 3.5 giving us excellent value.
Michigan State Spartans #391 over Ohio State Buckeyes: This is obviously not a fade on Oh St. which is playing at another level so far than any team in college football. However you pay a premium to bet them to cover. Oh St has shown no weaknesses. Lewerke is a Sr. he will not be intimated by this situation. Mich St has the best run defense. D’antonio will have his team ready. What we have is a very big spread with a very low total indicating a low scoring game. This game will be much closer than expected. I have t priced at 16.5 giving us excellent value.
Troy Trojans-Missouri Tigers Over #339: Usually when you have a dog of this size they will want to run the ball grind the clock to stay close. Just the opposite with Troy. Barker is solid at Qb. Troy has a horrible defense. Missouri should be able to score at will. AS long as we get 14 points out of Troy we will cash. Both teams play fast. Troy has no rush offense they throw the ball almost every down. Troy defense is horrible especially against the pass. I have this game at 71.0 giving us excellent value.
