In their first game at home as a 36 point dog they barely covered against Baylor losing 56-21. Most importantly they actually did play well especially in the first half.

Western Kentucky Hilltoppers over Vanderbilt Commodores: Wk was very much an under the radar team last year. That will not last for much longer. They have an explosive offense however their defense was a big weakness. Although not exactly a shutdown squad this year they should be much improved. The defense returns 9 starters and they have added transfers from the now defunct UAB football team. It is no accident Wk is a small favorite on the road to start the year even against an SEC team.

Ohio State Buckeyes over Oregon Ducks: When you bet on Org you pay a premium. The high scoring flashy offense lead by QB Mariota and you can see why. However what is overlooked is they are awful on defense so they win in shootouts. When you are spotting this many points to a quality Big 10 team that gives you value on the opposition.

Kansas State Wildcats over UCLA Bruins: K St season has played out at the expectations first thought of. Both teams are 9-3 but in my opinion the losses and wins for K. St are much more impressive than UCLA.

Michigan State Spartans over Baylor Bears: Expecting this to be a high scoring game so taking back a small amount of points not much value but the money line has value at a +. Both teams have very good offenses Bay has the edge at #1 while Mich not far behind at #7. Bay has also lost their off-cord to a head coaching job at Tulsa.

Louisville Cardinals over Georgia Bulldogs: Geo is not in the bowl they had hoped for so motivation will be a question. Geo has also lost their off coord. The def coord now at Louisv up until last year was the def coord for Geo.

North Carolina State Wolfpack over Central Florida Knights: UCF are on a 4 game winning streak which helps us with the value for this game. When you look under the hood and analyze who they beat it is not all that impressive.

Rice Owls over Fresno St. Bulldogs: Another perception vs. reality play. Fresno St. a fast paced high scoring team from years past. They did not have a good year. In fact a perennial strong team from the Mountain West this year they are the only team to get a bowl bid with a losing record.

San Diego State Aztecs over Navy Midshipmen: This game means much more to SDST than Navy. Navy beat Army Dec 13th 17-10 that is their Super Bowl. SDST has had 3 weeks to prepare for the triple option offense of Navy.
